ABOUT US
Sense Music & Media is a division of Media Atelier GmbH Mainz with office in Berlin.
The services we provide range from DVD-authoring/production/conception, music-TV production, music production, cinema and radio advertisement, digital film and video editing (digital post-production), graphics/animation/illustration to first class audio editing and restoration.
Experience, creativity, quality and an all-round service from start to finish are our strengths.
For the production of DVD videos we offer one-stop complete services, from conception and project planning to developing and editing assets right up to the final master.
The trend towards virtual teams and networking shows how important open and flexible structures are for gathering creative ideas, prompt realisation and first-class production.
Depending on the task, we supplement and expand our core team of specialists from a network of graphic designers, illustrators, authors and other creative heads. Thus we are able to offer comprehensive solutions and professional support. This way, even complex projects are developed with only one contact person.
The process-orientation of our work becomes apparent through the integrative structure of our technology and our organisation: short, digital paths for bits & bytes, flat hierarchies and direct contact persons in all areas of activity (DVD, AVID editing, graphics, animation, sound studio) and production stages from conception, production up to post-production.
Long standing experience in the music industry as well as expertise and insider knowledge in the area of electronic music provide us with extensive contacts and continuous access to current trends and opinion leaders.
Our main interest is to establish long term business connections with our clients based on expertise and quality and, together with them, to realise projects of all different kinds of scale and nature.
In the past six years, we realised numerous innovative projects in successful collaboration with clients like electronic beats / T-Mobile, !K7 Records, novamute, Time Out Magazine etc.

SERVICES

DVD Authoring
- complex authoring projects with up to 99 video tracks
- up to 8 different audio tracks
- optional PAL or NTSC format
- design of (animated) menus, backgrounds and interactive features based on our own creation or a template
- encoding and insertion of subtitles in ASCII text incl. time code
- own creation of subtitles, translation by certified translators if necessary

Project Management

Postproduction
From DVD magazines, commercials, documentaries to feature films – with our optimal fusion of technology, experience and expertise, we provide professional editing, audio adaptation and sound mixing in order to turn the film material into an optimal end product.
Both of our avid workstations are linked via patch bays to the central machine room and thus have direct access to various formats (Beta SP, Digi Beta, DVC Pro 25/50,
DVCAM, Mini-DV).



Conception
Development of ideas and graphic and content concepts for CD’s, DVD’s, documentaries and music TV.

Audio

We offer an individual all-round service:
- CD pre-master with ISRC encoding / UPC / EAN
- sound editing, digital editing, restoration of old recordings (denoising, declicking, decrackling, dehissing), DVD encoding (AC3)
- voice recordings (own speakers catalogue) and mix
